Hayvi Bouzo is a Syrian-born American broadcast journalist with over 12 years of experience as a Bureau Chief, T.V. host, blogger, and commentator. She is known for hosting, The Axis, a critically-acclaimed political T.V. show focusing on Middle East and U.S. foreign policy. The Axis, broadcasted in over 60 countries and was viewed by millions across the globe. In this show she interviewed renowned American officials and covered various controversial themes in the Middle East such as: countering extremism, promoting dialogue for peacebuilding, confronting anti-Semitism, and hate. In 2020 Hayvi started her own live streaming show titled “Middle East Rise” where she focuses on education and promoting dialogue about issues such as; countering hate, anti-Semitism, and violence, while promoting peace and coexistence in the MENA region and beyond. Recently, Hayvi co-founded Yalla, a fun, fast-paced, Arab-language show where she interviews fascinating people building the future of the Middle East.
Avi Melamed is an Expert on Current Affairs in the Arab and Muslim World and the founder of Inside The Middle East: Intelligence Perspectives. He is a former Israeli Senior Official on Arab Affairs. Fluent in Arabic, English, and Hebrew, Avi has held advisory and policy and high-risk counter-terrorist and intelligence positions throughout the region on behalf of the Israeli government. He has co-authored Separate and Unequal: Israel’s Rule in East Jerusalem. He has authored and co-authored several books, including Inside the Middle East: Making Sense of the Most Dangerous and Complicated Region on Earth. His newest book, Inside The Middle East | Entering A New Era, was published in February 2022.
