Video of Exploding Barrels

In the war in Syria Assad’s forces are indiscriminately shelling Syrian cities and towns.  Syrian civilians claim that helicopters of the Syrian regime often shell cities using what they describe as “Exploding Barrels.”

The attached video taken from inside a Syrian military helicopter shows a Syrian soldier lighting a bomb and then throwing it on a Syrian town.  It is likely that this is the “Exploding Barrel” that people are referring to.

According to accumulating reports, more than 36,000 Syrians have been killed in the war in Syria so far – 3,176 of the fatalities are infants and children.
