Over the last decade, Iran has been building an Iranian-controlled corridor from Iran through Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon to the Mediterranean Sea. This land bridge represents the most significant military threat Israel is currently facing. Consequently, Israel has vowed to do whatever it takes to prevent Iran from securing this corridor.
